What's going on?

Wow, it's been a while since my last blog post hasn't it?  That's what happens when the geek takes over the knitter.  LOL

Next weekend is PAX and I'm really excited about it.  This will be our first year going to the geekvent.  In the past we would hear about it just a few weeks before and tickets would be sold out.  But this year we watched the website for when the tickets were on sale and bought in as soon as I was able.  If we hate it, we won't have to worry about it next year.  If we love it, it will become a must do annual event.

The past 2 weeks I've been, once again, immersed in World of WarCraft.  This has been a favorite game of all time for the last few years.  I hadn't played a lot since the first of the year, just now and again, and when my husband decided he wanted to play again it took no time for me to become as completely entrenched as always.

Never fear though, the Central Park Hoodie will begin after PAX.  I can't wait to get started.  I bought season 2 of Trueblood and that will carry me through to the new television season premieres.  Can't wait until the 23rd when "The Big Bang Theory" comes back!

I have a full few months ahead of me.  Pax next week.  I'm hoping to see Heart at the Puyallup Fair on the 25th of Sept.  Then in October I have a work related convention in Seattle.  November is SteamCon.  Then, of course, the December holiday.  Phew.  I'm going to need the quiet of January & February just to recover.  I hope to be more involved with my garden next year, so will need those two months to quietly plan.  I can think of all the yard stuff to do while knitting!  haha

So, I'm still here, just not knitting for about another week.  Oh...and yes, I will be picking up spinning again this fall.  :-)
